Task Management
Typically, end users will participate in processes via the Cordys inbox. Every user in Cordys is assigned to one or more roles. A user may be a member of a team and hence may be allocated to a worklist allowing them to send and receive tasks and notifications. The Inbox is the browser based application in which it all comes together for the end user. The Inbox is configured and tailored according to the user’s profile and functions. The Cordys Inbox can be set up as classical task management inbox, but can also be fully interwoven with applications built in Cordys, depending on preferred style of working.
Cordys Task Management allows (groups of) users to effectively manage their tasks, associated with the activities and business logic modeled in Business Process Models, Case Models and Business Rules. Cordys supports push and pull based task allocation, hand-over of tasks and allows organizations to implement advanced task allocation and routing routines.

Cordys Inbox
Cordys supports advanced business calendars, which take the complexity of "follow the sun" operations into account such as time zones, public holidays and deviating business hours. This is highly relevant for SLA monitoring and triggering timing alerts during process execution.
Cordys Inbox is seamlessly integrated with Cordys Case Management:
- A Case worker can view all the tasks for a particular case model, grouped by case instance or business identifiers, which he/she has access to.
- The Case Task view of the Inbox is a consolidated view of all the active activities for a particular case.
- This serves as a complete dashboard, from where the user can plan follow up activities, raise events, attach documents and also perform administrative activities like suspend, resume, forward, delegate, etc.
- The case worker will be able to view the complete case history from the Inbox.
