Pre-Sales Consultants - US
We are seeking talented Pre-Sales Consultants to contribute
to our rapidly expanding global software company. He or she will provide
pre-sales technical consultation to the Account Executive, including:
- matching
specific customer business requirements with effective technical
solutions;
- delivering
on-site Proof-Of-Concepts, prototype demos and workshops;
- authoring
articles and presentations;
- assisting with sales account penetration.
Qualifications
This position is an extremely dynamic role, which requires
the candidate to be a self-starter, very self-reliant and highly motivated.
This role requires excellent presentation and communication skills along with
detailed technical knowledge.
- BS
or equivalent.
- 5-10
Years experience in the software industry, preferably with pre-sales
experience.
- Experience
in selling or working with integration software is an advantage.
- Technical
knowledge on the following subjects:
- Web
Services standards;
- .Net
and J2EE platforms, including ASP.NET, EJB, JMS, JDBC, XML and related
areas;
- Service
Oriented Architecture, including EAI, ESB, BPM, distributed computing,
web technologies and messaging;
- Databases
and data modeling, using Oracle, IBM DB/2 and Microsoft SQL Databases on
Windows 2000, on Windows NT and on Linux OS;
- Enterprise
applications, like ERP applications;
- Network
architectures and security;
- Software
development methodologies.
- General
knowledge and experience within Financial, TELCO, government and/or
utilities is an advantage.
- Travel
is required.
- Flexibility
and the willingness to address any task in the sales cycle are required.
