Position Summary

The Professional Services Consulting Architect position has been defined to be the primary individual responsible for supporting BPM projects in system and application architecture design activities.  In addition, the Architect is responsible for management of the BPM methodology.  The Consulting Architect reports directly to the Project Manager.  The Consulting Architect is allocated to the project on a full-time basis.

Primary Responsibilities

• Responsible for designing and implementation of Cordys solution within customer corporate IT infrastructure
• Responsible for designing and guiding the development team on Cordys application architecture
• Responsible for developing and maintaining working relationships with project process owners and enterprise process architects to assist in keeping BPM solutions in line with BPM principles, Cordys@Work standards, and enterprise target state processes.
• Responsible for providing best practices and guidance to business analyst and project teams in the areas of requirements analysis and modeling using Cordys Process Designer.

• Expert in multi-tier software development based on J2EE architecture

• UNIX and Windows proficiency

Test Skills:

• Basic understanding of test planning
• Basic understanding of User Acceptance test

Soft Skills:

• Communication proficiency
• Presentation proficiency

Enterprise Skills:

• Enterprise process framework proficiency
• Basic understanding of enterprise architecture

Other

• Applicant must be located within the greater San Francisco (CA), Chicago (IL), Kentwood (MI) or New York (NY) area or willing to relocate
