Position Summary

The Developer position has been defined to be the primary individual responsible for supporting BPM projects in development activities.  In addition, the Developer is responsible for design, implement and test Cordys Application.  The Developer reports directly to Project Manager.  The Developer is allocated to the activities on a full-time basis.

Primary Responsibilities

• The Cordys Application developer is software professional with a computer science or related degree with good hands on knowledge and experience in developing and deploying enterprise applications. The developer should have the required training to install and set up Cordys, and to have the critical thinking skills needed to develop and deploy Cordys applications.
• The developer is responsible for implementing the solution from the process model into a deployable model. The tasks include implementation of the process template, data model, routing, entitlement logic, notification and escalation logic.  The developer will be responsible for integration to external back end systems, data model, UI form layouts, validation/verification logic, and applying business rules particular to the application. The developer also assists in testing/QA and deployment process.

• Basic understanding of Cordys Architecture
• Knowledge of BPM and Orchestrator

• Basic understanding of process design
• Basic understanding of BPM workflow design
• UI design and x-Forms proficiency
• Application design proficiency

Development Skills:

• Web application development proficiency
• Java, JSP, J2EE, JavaScript, JDBC proficiency
• UNIX and Windows proficiency

Test Skills:

• Basic understanding of System Test
• Basic understanding of Performance Test

Soft Skills:

• Communication proficiency
