As a Software Engineer in Development team, the qualified candidate will be responsible for contributing to one of the flagship products and its components. He should be able to write stable and standardized code in Java for the modules assigned. He should also be able to manage his own work to meet schedules, communicate to his Development Manager on progress/status on a regular basis.

Responsibilities:

• Development or programming of software using Internet technologies for product development independently (or with minimum help)
• Must be able to communicate in a clear and concise manner both verbally and written
• Must be a good team player
• Must posses good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Must be able to complete assigned task within a given time frame
• Must be able to handle additional tasks/responsibilities if required
• Raise issues and contribute suggestions wherever required in design, planning, processes, etc.
• Apply Quality Assurance concepts and standards
• Adhere to the basic processes defined relevant for the work domain and raise issues and contribute suggestions wherever required in design, planning, processes, etc.

Required Skills:

• Candidate should have good problem solving, analytical, design and coding skills.
• He/she should be strong in object oriented analysis and design with good work experience in Java and HTML. 
• Knowledge of XML, C++ and web services would be an added advantage.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle and software estimation is a must. 
• Product Development Background will be an added advantage,

Experience:

Candidate should have 2 – 4 years of industry experience in a Product Development environment.

Qualification:

BE/B.Tech/MCA/M.Sc/M.Tech from a reputed university.
