The Senior Software Engineer in Java Technology would be reporting to the Project Lead / Scrum Master in a specific Development Team. He should be a keen problem solver with a proactive, team oriented approach with excellent Oral and Verbal communication skills. Candidates possessing experience in study of Systems requirements and Product Development background will have an additional preference.

Responsibilities:

• Development or programming of software using Internet technologies for product development independently (or with minimum help)
• Must be able to communicate in a clear and concise manner both verbally and written
• Must be a good team player
• Must posses good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Must take care of the requirement management
• Must be able to complete assigned task within a given time frame
• Must be able to handle additional tasks/responsibilities if required
• Raise issues and contribute suggestions wherever required in analysis, design, planning, processes, etc.
• Apply Quality Assurance concepts and standards
• Adhere to the basic processes defined relevant for the work domain and raise issues and contribute suggestions wherever required in design, planning, processes, etc.

Required Skills:

• Candidate should have good problem solving, analytical, design and coding skills.
• He/she should be strong in object oriented analysis and design with good work experience in Java, Apache, Linux, JavaScript,SOAP,HTML and DHTML.
• Knowledge of XML, C++ and web services would be an added advantage.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle and software estimation is a must. 
• Candidates with Product Development and requirement management background will be an added advantage.

Experience:

Candidate should have 4 – 6 years of industry experience in a Product Development environment.

Qualification:

BE/B.Tech/MCA/M.Sc/M.Tech from a reputed university.
