Welcome to the June 2007 edition of Engage
This month we had the opportunity to
sit down with Argonaut Private Equity’s Managing Director, Jason Martin, to
discuss the exciting partnership with Cordys underpinned by Argonaut’s recent $67
million investment in Cordys.
Part of the driver for securing this investment was to accelerate the growth and expansion of Cordys, in terms of sales and in terms of customer support.
As part of this expansion strategy, we are delighted to welcome Manu Mahbubani to the Cordys Executive Board and as Vice President of Engineering. Manu will be taking on worldwide responsibility for our Product Division.
Cordys also made important hires in two key markets: Jonathan Best joins Cordys as Managing Director in the UK, while Peter Mark Droste joins Cordys as Vice President DACH and Managing Director in Germany.
We feature Butler Group’s recent Technology Audit that highlights the strengths of Cordys SOA-based approach to BPM and its ability to deliver rapid time to value.
We look at how Ahrend, designer and manufacturer of office furniture and supplies, is taking advantage of Cordys to integrate existing systems and improve data availability to all account managers, sales support executives and furniture designers.
Finally, July 4th marks the very first Cordys Benelux User Day, a forum for Cordys users and partners in the Benelux region to share their knowledge of and experiences with the technology. We look forward to meeting you at the event.
Best regards,
Loek van den Boog
CEO Cordys
Following Argonaut Private Equity’s involvement in the
single largest round of funding for an independent, private BPMS vendor, we sat
down with Argonaut’s Managing Director, Jason Martin, to find out more about
his firm, and the potential he sees for Cordys.
This month we welcome three significant new hires to
Cordys.
Manu Mahbubani joins as Vice President of Engineering and the latest member of the Cordys Executive Board.
Jonathan Best joins as Managing Director of Cordys’ UK operations, one of the key territories targeted for growth.
Peter Mark Droste joins as Vice President DACH and Managing Director of Cordys’ German operations, another key territory for Cordys in Europe.
Published in April 2007, Butler Group’s Technology
Audit identified a number of key strengths in Cordys BPMS, namely:
1. Well integrated components designed from the ground-
up to support SOA
2. Single model/develop/deploy/execute process
3. High productivity, comprehensive environment with fast time to value
4. Methodology to guide customers through all stages of implementation
Ahrend, a designer and manufacturer of office furniture and
supplies, is using Cordys ESB to link existing applications thereby streamlining
key business processes. As a result, all
Ahrend employees, from account managers to customer
service representatives will be able to access all software applications and
associated data in real-time via a single user interface.
As we mentioned in the May edition of Engage, July 4th
marks the very first Cordys Benelux User Day.
The event addresses both technical and business oriented audiences and is aimed at Cordys users in the Benelux region.
