WebEx
WebEx, the leading provider of Web communication services with 8,500 customers, had multiple applications that didn’t easily interface with one another and no longer offered the necessary scalability to meet growing and complex business demands. With Cordys, WebEx has real-time visibility and access to critical enterprise-wide business processes, enabling them to increase the lifecycle of proven legacy business functions and reuse the functionality as Web services. WebEx is also able to better manage independent financial and lifecycle management information, giving them clearer insight into their worldwide operations.
Bouwfonds
Bouwfonds, one of the largest Dutch real estate companies, develops and finances real estate projects for both enterprises and private parties. Like many companies in this industry, Bouwfonds needed to address increased demand for chain integration as well as integrated financial and risk management activities. With the Cordys Business Process Management Suite (BPMS), Bouwfonds found an integrated solution that would increase their security and compliance and also support financial consolidation, Basel II, and economic capital reporting.

De Amersfoortse Verzekeringen
De Amersfoortse Verzekeringen, a leading provider of disability insurance, health insurance, and pension plans in the Netherlands, chose the Cordys BPMS to better manage its complex, integrated product offering and process chains. Cordys BPMS enables De Amersfoortse Verzekeringen to optimize key business processes and adapt quickly to shifting consumer demands and changing legislation.

Ertan Hydropower Development Corporation
Ertan, the largest hydropower plant in China with 34,500 MW of power, relies on the Cordys BPMS to ensure the interoperability of existing IT applications and provide a development and integration platform for creating new processes. With Cordys BPMS, Ertan was able to:
- Plan for and start building 20 hydropower dams along the Yalong River in China
- Cut the number of man hours per IT project in half
- Save 40 percent on IT investment and maintenance costs

“By providing access to each of Ertan’s production control systems from a single point of access and a uniform user interface, the Cordys-based portal guarantees transparency, ease of use, short learning curves, and a high level of efficiency,” explains Huang Wei, office of Ertan’s general management.
Equens
Equens is the third largest payment processor in Europe, with three billion transactions per year. Because its IT department regularly develops 60 to 80 automation projects annually, Equens was looking for a solution that could handle complex functional and technical requirements while providing increased flexibility and lower costs-per-transaction.
The company chose Cordys BPMS to develop new composite applications because “the Cordys platform enables Equens to integrate processes and applications without having to change those already in place,” Johan Been, executive vice president operations, Equens.
Ewals Cargo Care
Ewals, a European logistics provider, needed to realign their existing IT systems in order to make their transportation planning services available across 14 European countries. Ewals chose Cordys BPMS because it would help them streamline business processes, integrate data from key applications, deliver information transparently across all locations, and adapt their IT environment to changing customer-specific business processes.

IFFCO-TOKIO General Insurance (ITGI)
ITGI, one of India’s top three private-sector general insurance companies with more than 100 offices and a countrywide network of sales and services partners, chose Cordys BPMS to support several major collaboration-focused IT initiatives:
- Integrate CRM and core insurance system
- Implement a business-to-business automation solution for vehicle insurance policies issued at point of service by the dealer network
- Enable flexible underwriting by maintaining premium calculation logic in response to business changes
- Introduce a travel insurance portal that allowed corporate customers to apply online
