Magic Quadrant for Intelligent Business Process Management Suites. Cordys is included in Gartner’sMagic Quadrant for iBPMS. According to Gartner, "an intelligent business process management suite (iBPMS) expands the traditional business process management suite (BPMS) by adding new functionality needed to support intelligent business operations, such as real- time business intelligence, complex-event processing (CEP), deep human collaboration and mobility." Gartner says “Cordys BOP allows heavy-duty process applications to be quickly constructed via a high-level programming model."

Cordys has "improved its market presence considerable since 2009 and continues to deliver innovations." Gartner says “Cordys has a strong product with a modular architecture and some unique features." Gartner also praises Cordys' Cloud proposition, noting that Cordys Business Operations Platform “is one of the few natively Cloud-enabled, full multitenant Cloud platforms”.

A strength of Cordys is that it “combines a strong focus on process management with rich Internet application (RIA) support and SOA as a strategic product direction.” The report notes that the Cordys platform is “highly available and scalable using advanced, event-driven internal architecture. The architecture and multitenant capabilities of the BOP-4 enable it to be deployed in public and private Clouds.”

In the report, Forrester notes that Cordys have “developed a comprehensive yet still compact and technically consistent business process platform.” Forrester’s report also notes that Cordys’ “early commitment to the Cloud platform provided experience in Cloud challenges and market dynamics.” The report recognizes Cordys Business Operations Platform as one solution that “realizes well the balance between on-premise, virtual private Clouds, and public Cloud value contributions to enterprise applications.”
